Imran announces to make his assets public

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan on Friday announced to make his assets public along with details as how he earned the money and how much tax he paid. Addressing a public gathering after joining of Salim Khan in the party, Imran Khan said he was introducing a new trend in politics of the country of making details of assets public. “I will make my assets public in a press conference within a week,” said the party chief. Arrest warrants in Bugti killing case sent to federal govt

BALOCHISTAN: The Balochistan government has sent the arrest warrants for former president Pervez Musharraf, former premier Shaukat Aziz and of former chief minister Jam Yosuf in the Akbar Bugti killing case to the federal government, sources in the provincial home ministry told FTNews. A copy of the FIR was also sent along with the arrest warrants, sources said. Earlier, a court in Quetta had issued the arrest warrants of the three. Moreover, on November 1, Chief Justice of the Balochistan High Court (BHC), Justice Qazi Faez Essa, had directed the authorities to repatriate the accused residing outside Pakistan. Govt imposes ban on pillion riding in Karachi

KARACHI: The Sindh government has once again decided to impose a ban on pillion-riding in Karachi after fears of terrorist attacks in Muharram. The ban was to be implemented from Friday morning and a notification in this regard would be issued today. Sindh Interior Minister Manzoor Wasan told FTNews that the decision was made after reports that terrorists would try to disrupt peace in the city during the holy month. Wasan said initially the ban would be in place for 10 days. The ban would not be applicable on women, children under the age of 12 years, senior citizens, disabled persons, journalists, personnel of law enforcement agencies in uniform and employees of essential services.
